CyberLock cylinders are electronic versions of standard mechanical locks. Each cylinder has a unique ID and incorporates an electronic chip that stores data in an encrypted format. There is also no traditional keyway, so not only is the lock impossible to ‘pick’, but it withstands environmental pressures such as dirt and moisture. CyberLock cylinders have a memory for storing access events, so they know any attempt to open them. The audit record displays the unique key ID, date, and time of contact. The cylinder even stores any unauthorised attempt to open it.
There are over 200 styles of CyberLock – making the system very flexible in tackling access control requirements in places where other possible solutions simply do not work. Cyberlock is not affected by dust, the cold or heat and can therefore be used indoors or outdoors in any weather conditions.
